Flourishes Challenge... Take 2.

I did another Flourishes challenge this week: Timeless Tuesday. We were challenged to do something new... Use a new stamp set, put a new spin on an old project, make a New Year's card. I chose to utilize one of my fairly new stamp sets- Sweet Nature. I got it a couple of months ago during the Flourishes Black Friday sale, but I hadn't had a chance to use it yet. I love the ranunculus flowers in the set... And the text stamp is so lovely. It gives such a shabby chic feel, in my opinion. I fussy cut the flowers and colored them with Copics. I added a beautiful crocheted embellishment sent to me by my crafty pen pal, and attached it with two pink pearl head pins to further enhance the shabby chic feel of the card.

I took down my Christmas decorations today... Sad face. Christmas decor always makes my house so cheerful and festive, and now it looks bare. This week will be dedicated to making Valentine's Day decor, which I will be sure to post! Talk to you soon!
